A publication made on the occasion of Martin Parr's exhibition Small World in Synthesis Gallery, Sofia, and in collaboration with the photographer Nikola Mihov.
To coincide with this show, a new Martin Parr artist book was created showcasing photographs from Martin Parr's ongoing series exploring mass tourism around the globe.
The publication presents a collection of five tourist brochures. The design of each brochure is inspired by Bulgarian communist advertising materials for Soviet and European tourists. Martin Parr's images from Small World take the place of images that would be used traditionally. They fit alltogether in a box to create a souvenir from the exhibition, in the style of Martin Parr.
